February 2004
RC starts a partnership with his wife Hulya Ucer
called ‘Analytical Insights’ – www.analytical-insights.com As a partnership in Singapore he is not required
to submit any annual returns or accounts.
Both introductory and home pages of his website
contains the word guarantee 6 times. His terms and conditions however state:
“Analytical Insights does not provide warranties, representations,
or endorsements whatsoever, express or implied, including
warranties of title or non-infringement, or warranties of merchant ability or
fitness for a particular purpose. Analytical Insights shall not be liable for
any cost or damage resulting from the services it provides”.
His website states that confidentiality is
assured. “You’re assured that all work we do for you will be held in strict
confidence. We do not sell or give away names and contact details of our
clients.”
His bio states (among other things) :
“Raj studied at Oxford, the United Kingdom, and
at Harvard University’s John F Kennedy School of Government in the United
States. Interestingly, he took a year off university to backpack through Africa
and the Middle East, during which he also had a six-month work stint on an
Israeli farm, where he harvested tomatoes, watermelons, and onions.”
RC also has a Facebook page. On this, he doesn’t
mention that he studied at Oxford or Harvard University’s John F Kennedy School
of Government. He lists as one of his interests ‘Tanjong Katong Secondary
Technical School’ in Singapore.
His company website features a bio of Huyla and
states (among other things) :
“Hulya has more than 15 years of professional
experience in the private and public sectors, developing international
investment projects for a diversity of industries including health services,
transportation, telecommunications, power development, and water treatment. She
is therefore well-versed in the preparation of information memoranda, the assessment
of project and country risk, the analysis of financial models, cash flow
projections, and market
research. Hulya is also skilled in negotiating investment
contracts, which has seen her collaborating with the world’s leading
international financial institutions and law firms, including the World Bank
and the OECD. She has also served on the project finance team of Swedish-Swiss
infrastructure developer, ABB, in Switzerland and Turkey. Hulya has also
written and researched a business development program for a Singapore-based
dotcom that specialized in providing secure collaborative documentation
solutions for large projects.”

with the products and purchases 1 plot of land priced at £13,000. He eventually
pays for it over 2 months later, well in excess of the normal payment period.
August 2006
RC decides to purchase again, this time a plot
for £20,000. He pays over a month later.
June 2007
RC sells his £20,000 for £22,500 and makes a
profit of £2,500.
RC sells his first plot for £13,500 and
makes a profit of £500.

£4,063 each – a total of £44,693. He takes advantage of an existing owners

He receives a discount of £17,182 on his purchase.

than 12 months.
RC purchases 3 plots for £13,000 each and again
pays the balance some 2 months later.
RC commences legal proceedings against his own
family in Australia over assets he wishes to inherit from his late Father.
May 2010
The Analytical Insights partnership is cancelled
with ACRA in Singapore. RC leaves the website running, which it still
is today. There is no mention on the website that the partnership has been
cancelled and the business does not exist any more.
RC's profile on LinkedIn still states to this day
that he is: 'Owner, Analytical Insights and Writing and Editing
Consultant".
RC approaches PP and explains his family owns
land in Turkey and asks if PP would sub-divide it into plots and sell it for
him. PP explains that they do not believe that land in Turkey at that time
would be particularly attractive to clients and turn down his offer.
June 2010
RC starts a blog called ‘Victims of Profitable
Plots’. The blog publishes numerous entries which are heavily critical of, and
defamatory to, PP.
July 2010
RC receives £16,250 from PP in payments linked to
his purchases. He still owns the same number of plots. Despite having started a
blog called ‘Victims of Profitable Plots’ just the month before, RC decides to
purchase another plot from PP this time for £18,888. He pays the £16,250 he has
received from PP but never pays the balance of £2,638. He never visits the PP
offices again.
August 2010
CAD raids the offices of PP removing all client
files, among other documents
Dec 2010
RC tells other PP clients via email that he has
met CAD but he is under strict orders from CAD not to discuss the
contents of the discussion with anyone. He says if info leaks it will only help
the other side. He promises to give a bigger picture in January and assures
them that the Lord is with them.
February 2011
RC sends an email to all PP clients worldwide,
including Canadians.
Canadian clients who have received the email demand
to know how RC obtained their private contact information which is a Federal
Offence in Canada.
PP confirms that all client files are currently
in the possession of CAD and PP Singapore didn’t, indeed couldn’t,
have supplied the private contact details of clients to RC.
March 2011
PP’s representatives, Syndications Canada (SC)
engages lawyers in Singapore who demand RC stop using the confidential client
information; return it; destroy it; and detail how and where he
got it.
April 2011
RC agrees to tell how and where he
got the information.
RC then says he won’t say anything
and engages legal representation.
RC approaches Securities Investors Association of
Singapore (SIAS) for assistance to investigate PP.
‘Victims of Profitable Plots’ are adopted as a
formal sub-committee of SIAS.
RC writes to SC telling them to back off and
threatens action by the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) if they don’t.
OSC issue a cease and desist order on SC.
May 2011
RC goes to the private residence of
a PP Singapore client, identifies himself; reveals he is aware of purchases
this client has made with PP; says he can arrange for a journalist to interview
him immediately and also offers to escort him to a local police station if he
would like to file a complaint. The client refuses and calls PP immediately to
report the incident.
October 2011
RC lawyers tell SC they have to lodge $40,000
with a court.
SC lawyers reply that courts make decision on
costs not them.
RC lawyers say they are ready for trial.
RC lawyers then say they are ready to settle and
wish to meet.
PP Singapore's lawyers write to RC demanding that
he stop using client personal information and disclose where he
got this information from. They also demand he reveal where he
got information relating to PP's business.
November 2011
RC lawyers confirm RC has got email information
of all PP clients as well as other information they have advised him not
to put into an affidavit.
RC lawyers then inform SC lawyers they have fresh
instructions from their client. RC denies all knowledge of
everything.
January 2012
PP write to RC lawyers demanding that he remove
his defamatory bog ‘Victims of Profitable Plots’. RC lawyers respond that the contents are not
his responsibility.
